"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." - Matthew 28:19-20
Who Me?!
My name is Sara, I am a stay at home mom. My husband, our 2 kids & I live outside of Raleigh, NC in the best little town in America. Really, it is! I am a Methodist, but Jesus doesn't care about your denomination. He just wants your heart; He wants you to follow Him.
I have been blessed to lead Bible study since August 2011. This ministry has grown because we "keep it real". We show up to class in sweats, t-shirts, sometimes un-showered, & no make up. We come in laughing about what our kids just did. We come in crying about a recent hurt. We hug & comfort & support each other. What is shared or said in class is private. It can be serious or fun; but always real.
The goal:
To inspire you to read your bible -AND- To inspire you to go & make disciples of other people, with whatever gift* God gave to you. We are all called to do this, but not in the same ways. Some like to go on mission trips or move abroad. Others like to help in the soup kitchen downtown or collect warm coats for the needy. Whatever it is you do, do it to bring Him glory, so that others will see Jesus in you.
*Here is your first assignment:
Read about spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12. If you haven't read that book before, then I hope you will be able to recognize in yourself, a gift. A gift from the Holy Spirit that will enable you to further the message of Jesus!
"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." -1 Corinthians 10:31
