Acts 2:42-47
The Fellowship of the Believers
" They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

How do we do this as a church today? Are we as close as the early church was back in Acts? They shared everything they had, gave to anyone in need and met every day! Then it says that God added to their numbers every day. Whoa.

They still had jobs to do, fish to catch, food to make, clothes to sew, kids to rear...In addition to living as a unified people. In addition to giving away what they had. In addition to meeting together daily. And we think we have busy lives? Plus- they did all this with glad and sincere hearts.

As you start this week thinking about all you have to get done; thinking about what you want or don't have--remember the early church. Remember your present day church. Look around you.

What can you give today? Time, money, advice, a listening ear, a hug, an apology, a phone call, a text, a hand written note,or even just a smile. Add to the number daily. Can others identify you by your actions as a Christian?

With a glad & sincere heart, go out today & get your fellowship on!

Great though! Our guest pastor Tim Downs also talked about the importance of relationships this Sunday. Making time to "one another" one another. There are so many commands in New Testament, pray for one another, bear with one another, love one another, serve one another. And all of these should be a part of our lives, but we have to make time and be intentional.
